Who are we?

Q' Spices was powered by a vision and a genuine love for food! Entrepreneur, Chemist and proud foodie, Quinneth nickname 'Q' is an island girl born and raised in the tiny island of Antigua and nurtured by Guyanese parents. Being from the islands Q learnt to appreciate food in it's raw authentic form. Fruit trees were never out of sight and natural herbs were readily available. 

After graduating college with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Q then found employment as a Quality Assurance Technician. 

During her time as a Quality Tech she learnt HACCP regulations, trained to do Pre-Op inspections, learnt to perform food laboratory tests, then eventually became shift trainer. She then moved on to working 12 hr night shifts at a chemistry lab, and worked part time in a restaurant during the day on her days off.

Not being able to shake her love for food, Q eventually quit her job as a Quality Assurance Lab Technician and went on a year of intense food boot camp! Sourcing authentic ingredients and turning familiar dishes into delicious healthier versions of itself. Food became expression, adventure and most importantly Q's medicine!
